Playground
Physical activity is crucial for children’s overall health and well-being, and the school playground provides them with opportunities for exercise and movement. It encourages children to engage in active play, such as running, jumping, climbing, and swinging, which helps develop their motor skills, coordination, and physical fitness.
Moreover, the playground offers a break from the classroom environment and allows students to unwind, release energy, and refresh their minds. It contributes to their mental and emotional well-being by providing a space for stress relief and creativity. Outdoor play has been shown to enhance concentration, reduce anxiety, and improve mood among children.
Classroom
Every Classroom in GMS has a smart panel that teachers use to be more interactive with the students. From these touch screen smart panels teachers can access various other apps such as You Tube or Google.
GMS uses the latest online content software to encourage students to participate in lessons and allows students to interact with the panels by answering questions on the panel itself.
All classes have a maximum of 30 students as per CBSE standards.

Library
The primary purpose of a school library is to promote reading and encourage a love for learning. It provides access to a wide range of books, including fiction, non-fiction, reference materials, and educational resources, catering to different interests and reading levels. Students can explore various subjects, conduct research, and enhance their understanding of the world around them.
In addition to books, modern school libraries often offer digital resources and technology. They may provide access to e-books, online databases, and educational websites, expanding the scope of learning beyond traditional print materials. Librarians play a crucial role in guiding students in locating and effectively utilizing these resources.
The Library is also used by parent volunteers to help students with their reading if they have fallen behind. This is a crucial process where different parents and students can bond together and the student becomes more confident in their reading abilities.

Mental Health
A student that learns the best is a happy and content child in all areas of their life.
The new National Education Policy (NEP 2020) puts a lot of emphasis on the mental health of students and have set out a framework on how schools should approach mental health for their students.
To ensure that our students have good mental health and enjoy school life we have a full time student counsellor where children of all age groups can visit and discuss their issues and queries regarding any matter with an expert professional.
The counsellor also oversees children that may have learning difficulties.
The school also works very closely with the SETHU organization and we refer children to them for assessments. If any learning difficulties are discovered then a plan is made in conjunction with the school, the parents, the counsellor and SETHU to monitor the student closely.
SETHU and other organizations training is provided twice a year to all GMS teachers to ensure that any child with difficulty is identified. This enables the GMS teachers to carry out interventions proving the following actions:
- Timely interventions for students are implemented as soon as gaps and findings have been identified.
- Special classes in reading and numeracy skills.
- Parent volunteers also support and help students with reading and numeracy as well as additional after school classes.
- GMS has cutting edge technology and teaching aids that capture the attention of the student and supports all learning styles.
